@wonderful1x1: Bring the hair dryer. I always travel with one, even when I'm going to be in a hotel with one in each room, because mine is better. And EVERYONE primps extra before a wedding, no one will think anything of it.

@What Name the 2nd: FYI, hashtags in replies don't work. They still add to the post count that determines what shows up in top tags, but you can't link to a post that way. Give it a try - click the #bigboobs tag in your post, and you'll find that the only thread that shows up is this one. I wish there were a way to get notifications for/to anonymous posts, but alas, there isn't one.

@Sabriel: I think people can log in again? I've actually never had a login problem, but the site is so slow (in more ways than one) that visiting here is rarely on my mind. I realized one day last week that it had been days since I'd even opened Yip, which is shocking when you consider that for two years it's been an open tab on my browser pretty much constantly.

Is your email the same as it was a year ago? I have some things related to this topic I'd like to talk to you about off the board.

@girlsleuth: Originally, the Facebook group was just a backup, in the days when Yip was going down a lot and staying down for days, and at that point, the link was posted publicly on this board. Since then, we've decided to be more private, and we as a group have decided to not talk about the FB page in "public." When we feel that someone has been around long enough for us to know them, we find a way to quietly invite them. Yes, it's very secret society, but it's because there are people who are concerned with their privacy and want to make sure they know who they're baring their soul to. There are probably some who are not happy with me for mentioning it in this thread, but it's becoming clear that we're going to have to have a larger conversation about the future of Yip, and the FB group is going to become public knowledge at that point anyway.

@Sabriel: I agree, and I'll second Morie's thoughts about the switch to the Facebook group for most people. That switch happened a couple months ago when Yip was super slow and not letting people log in, and it seems that we just never switched back, partially because of persistent slowness. There have also been comments as to how FB feels more private because it's a closed group, even though it's linked to our real names.

Personally, I prefer to interact via the Facebook group, but I'm torn because I know that switching over there would leave behind a lot of people (LIKE YOU!) who either don't have FB accounts or who just plain don't want to switch for any other reason. I would miss you guys!

So, I don't know. I wish there were a good solution.

@1girl is Captain Buzzkill: ALL sandals are too narrow. It's the worst. I have wide feet, but I do just fine with wide shoes from Payless, or going up a size in some other brands. But with sandals, even wide ones feel too narrow.

Also, I'm not totally horrified by those shoes and I'm not sure whether or not I should be worried.
