Wednesdays are my day to cook dinner. Tonight we're having chicken, onion, and tomato pitas with shredded lettuce, cucumbers, mint, and yogurt dressing. Super healthy, right?

And you know what I'm making to go with that? French fries. Covered in feta cheese. And olive oil.

@syneblue: But seriously, if you ever need a librarian for anything, you should totally hire me. I can also sell clothing, teach autistic children, and manage large offices. I also speak Spanish and Japanese and bring cake into the break room regularly.

It's really good cake. Employers of the world are missing out.

@token_liberal: I don't want to misrepresent - it's not a brand new one for each job. I have a master list of jobs I've had in the past ten years (all weird and not career-like) along with assorted job descriptions that I think screeners are looking for.

So for every job I go through and pull from the topics that relate to the position, then rework them so they match the language from the job posting. Then I write a cover letter from scratch.

Then I drink heavily.

I don't wannna write any more resumes. I don't wannna! Someone just give me a job. No?

Back to the grindstone.

Jesus. You just described on of my recurring nightmares.

@walkawayrenee: Saute some cumin seeds in canola oil, then add a medium onion, cut into rings. When the onions are translucent, add peeled, cubed zucchini, tumeric, and red pepper flakes if you like heat. Just before the zucchini is done, add a few tablespoons heavy cream. Eat with naan. Feel good about life.
