@Strict and her trusty sidekick Benji: That sounds horrible. I have to go to one of those workshops next week, and I'm not looking forward to it...

@Harry Covert: Congratulations! And I agree with RedTide's advice about the breathing.

@badluckgirl can't log in: I think you can just tell her you're there for her and be available to go to her doctor's appointment. There's not really anything else you can do, unfortunately.

Hey all,
I've been on vacation the last couple weeks, and I missed you all. How is everyone? Is someone getting married? All my ads here are for bridesmaid dresses. I'm going to try to brush up on what's been happening around here now, but first:

For those of you who I'm sadly not facebook friends with and who therefore haven't seen my trillions of posts about this, on Sunday I'm riding a bike race to raise money for Planned Parenthood. Today's my last fundraising day, and I'm still a little short on my goal. If you're interested in contributing, please let me know! Even $10 would be so welcome.

@what name: Nice! I've been looking for a maxi dress myself.

@Untamable_Kate: Good! I'm glad. Hugs.

@Untamable_Kate: I'm so sorry you had to experience this, but please take time for yourself and don't go to work if you don't feel up to it.

@Ri L.: i am a dark cloud: Ewwwwwww.

@Anonymous: You should do whatever you want! If you want to text him, do so. If you want to wait for him and have the patience, that's fine too!

@holy harpsichord: Get a hybrid! It's lighter than a mountain bike, but not as flimsy-seeming as a regular road bike. I have one and it's ideal for riding around town, although I don't live in a really hilly, outdoorsy city or something.

I'm not sure about the idea of the cheap practice, bike, but keep in mind that if you buy your bike from the bike store, it probably comes with free tune-ups for life, which ends up being a pretty good deal in the long run.
