Holy shit. Yip finally let me log in. I've missed you guys! I've been lurking some, but having a lot of trouble with my login.
Brief update on my life: rapidly counting down to wedding time, on a new and improved antidepressant, life with the mister and Wee Lass is going well, and we're saving for a house down payment eventually.
How's stuff for y'all?
Has anyone had a sleep study? My doctor wants me to have one to rule out (or in) sleep apnea (central or obstructive) or narcolepsy. I understand that I'll be plugged into monitors and things while I sleep - any other things I should know?
Also, can you have apnea without serious snoring?
@Flackette: Update: I just checked back, and the girlfriend I was thinking of going with has other plans. So unless I have another friend who wants to go, it looks like it's the office party...maybe followed by the two of us catching the second act at the dive bar.
@smeeeep: Do you know if you have been vaccinated for it? I forget where you live, but if in the US and you got your childhood vaccines on schedule, you should be okay.

...go with the Mister to his office party, which always features lots of good food and booze, but requires me to dress up and politely make chit-chat with his bosses and coworkers?
...or take him up on his offer to miss it, and go with a girlfriend to a local dive bar where my favorite country rock band is playing along with a new local folk rock band?
The events are far enough apart that I can't make them both. I feel like I should go as moral support at the office party, even though I won't know many people, but I also like this bar and the bands playing. And I can't tell if he really meant it when he told me I didn't need to go to the office party.
