As far as where I've gone - I haz a job and am spending any down time in slack jawed, tongue lolling exhaustion. I do visit regularly though but can't always log in.

Anyhow, can I get some feedback/advice please? About a month ago, the dishwasher in the apartment upstairs went wrong and released a whole load of water through my ceiling, destroying it.
Now, there are two apartments upstairs, with different landlords. I rang the agent for the landlord I thought owned the rear apartment and told them that there was a flood coming from the apartment "at the rear of the building" (*the wording is important here*). They sent round a plumber who could not get into the apartment as he didn't have keys. After much fannying about (during which time the flood continued) they realised that they managed the apartment at the front of the building and left. I rang the other agent and the problem got fixed, but not as fast as it would have if the right landlord had been contacted first.
Now the first landlord wants me to pay the plumber call out fee. Obviously it wasn't his fault there was a flood but I maintain it was his agent's fault that they didn't know which apartment they manage and they should have just told me I was calling the wrong landlord and therefore I should not have to pay. He disagrees.
What do you think? Should I have to pay?
