I have a weekend project! I am excited. I decided to put up some new shelves, and instead of going the easy way with regular ones I decided to get a long piece of wood cut into the right lengths and then paint it fun colors. If this works out, we'll have a nice red shelf in the kitchen and 2 burnt orange corner shelves in the hallway. I love Home Depot so much.
Help, I've fallen on my bed and I can't get up to go out with my friends.

LOL I am an idiot. When I was leaving work last night I hit the parking garage wall with my car- it's a sharp turn for the exit, and I'm always afraid that I'll take the turn too widely and hit the cars coming to use the other gate. Well, last night I over-corrected and hit the corner. I heard a crunch, and sure enough my door is all dented and scraped and terrible looking. It's just aesthetic- like, the door still works. I really want to get it fixed because it's an ugly dent/scrape, but I have so many things I could use those hundreds of dollars for. I already know that I'll drive this car until it gives up on life (it's already 10 years old) so I'm not worried about resale value... Just about driving around with a big sign that says "I am stupid"
